I SPY:tucked away in a downtown office, you would think you were in a non profit. A large room of cubicles with a couple of tufted leather chairs, probably left over from a bank or some closure sale welcoming you to the entrance of the office. The CEO sits in one of the cubicles with his senior sales person and the rest of the staff is dispersed throughout the room and if you are having a conversation, they are all tapped in..but ready to do something..make it happen. They are the happiest bunch you will ever meet and one of the most effective in the region and out of that lean mean operation comes the most trusted news source for business along the coast and the most powerful events that the business community gets to navigate and network in the area. It's an old fashioned operation of relationship building and keeping it lean and mean and being about the product and services and doing the best for the community....and it comes from leadership. This week, walking around the regions biggest, baddest, and most profound business expo, with the governor as the keynote and 600 for lunch, 1400 registered for seminars, over 3000 attending, here is the CEO, the wizard behind the curtain, and he is walking around with is kids...sharing all this with his family. They come first..and any of his team with kids..well, they are there too. So, this week, I spy Rob Kaiser, publisher and owner of Wilmington biz magazine, wilmington biz expo, the power breakfast series,  and wilma mag. A man with a vision for the best of who we are in the community for business development but also someone who gets it that its not about the flash and spin..its about the product and the profound difference you can make on the community as a whole. But linking us all up, we are stronger, more productive and more able to do more for each other and for the today and the future!

Affirmation and sign off: HAVE A NICE DAY, UNLESS YOU HAVE MADE OTHER PLANS!
