I SPY: So I was invited to the Balcony on dock this to Wilmington West Rotary to share the progress we are making the miracle field. I am a member of central rotary and I love rotarains and felt right at home. But the woman who invited me is someone I have known for a while and has been in business for 17 years here. She makes it her business to welcome people to the area and make them feel a part of the community. I introduced her to my new intern and she told her she had to get her some information. Literally, the next day on my doorstep, there lay this amazing package, hand delivered of all this amazing welcome material to the area for Amanda. Sure, this is her business. But for me..it is about Wilmington. Sorry, I just have never lived anywhere where the owners of a welcome service drives out of their way to hand deliver something to a 22 year old intern. This speaks to who we are as community..who we can be…the best of who we can be…the solution makers…and so this week, I Spy Nancy Wilcox of the Welcome Service..she is someone who represents, for me, the best of business in our community and gets it that it is about ALL of us and makes me proud to be home here!

Affirmation and sign off:
HAVE A NICE DAY, UNLESS YOU HAVE MADE OTHER PLANS!
