I SPY SEGMENT:
The reason I am doing this at the beginning this week is
that this show…the idea for doing this came from my experience over a decade
ago with a man who became very
influential in my life. He was the first person to put me on the air and
interview me and he was the opitmy of style and grace and made me and everyone
he encountered feel like they were welcomed and supported. His show was about
featuring the best of who we are and what we can do well..and while I fall way
short of what he is and what he did, I aspire to him and dedicate this endeavor
to bring a positive voice….a voice that speaks from all walks of life…to the
air to bring access to resources out to the community. This week he was
properly honored with the naming of a building and at the theater awards..but
his legacy lives on in those of us who were taught to live above the frey,
stick to the mission, and get out the best in the community so people know what
is there..so I spy Donn Ansell..and this show is and will always be to him and
his honor.

Calling all Steve Vernon fans! Big Dawg
Productions and Comically Impaired are sponsoring a benefit to help Steve
Vernon with his hospital bills. Comically Impaired will perform at the Hannah
Block Historic USO Building (Community Arts Center) on February 1, 2013. Doors
open at 7:30 pm and the shows starts at 8 pm. Beverages and snacks will be
available for purchase. Donations accepted at the door (minimum $5). ALL

the show with an affirmation..as I believe firmly in the verse that says “so
you think in your heart, so shall you be”, and I learned some years ago that what
you put in is often what you put out..so I LOVE affirmations…
Most who know me and have called my personal or business
phone have gotten this one..but it is what I love to share and what I hold
myself accountable with everyday..and it is something I deeply am grateful for
for to live by it is to acknowledge that I am given a life by which I am free
to make choices and to have accept the abundant gifts each everyday…so with
